EBO TAYLOR, the Afrobeat and Ghanaian Highlife legend, is bringing his inimitable, infectiously upbeat sound to the Metro Theatre for one night only, with his son Henry Taylor and special guests, Melbourne’s very own, The Afrobiotics!

A prolific guitarist, vocalist and composer whose career began in 1950s Ghana, 87-year-old Taylor will share with audiences a taste of the energetic, jazz and funk-tinged magic that has fuelled his prolific, 60-plus-year career and seen him play to fans across the globe. In that time, he’s collaborated with Fela Kuti, influenced countless artists, and helped shape the Afrobeat sound as we know it today.
